Shakespeare on Clark Announces 2012 Play: Taming of the Shrew!

Shakespeare on Clark announces the selection of "The Taming of the Shrew" as it's 2012 production. Save the dates for the upcoming season of Shakespeare on Clark presented by All Dressed Up Costumes. 

This annual event will take place on the stone pavilion on Clark Island in the heart of downtown Batavia, and will be performed Fridays through Sundays, July 27th through August 12th.

Shakespeare on Clark is funded by pass the hat donations at the show, as well as through business sponsorships. A Polo Tournament Fund Raiser is also being held to assist with the costs of Shakespeare on Clark. The Polo Tournament will be held Sunday, July 22nd at the Blackberry Polo field on Bliss Road in Batavia.

New Water Street Event: Waterline Writers!

Every 3rd Sunday, 7-9pm


Come join us on Sunday night, Feb 19th from 7-9pm for the first Waterline Writers Readings. We plan to host monthly readings where writers will read excerpts from their own work, including fiction (novels, short stories, creative non-fiction), poetry, plays, lyrics, spoken word, experimental work, multi-media work, storytellers, stand-up comedy, etc. We are committed to providing a place where talented published and not-yet-published writers can share their work as well as meet and support other writers. We hope and suspect that, just as Water Street Studios drew forth scores of local artists with transcendent talents, Waterline Writers will become the meeting place and synergistic center for gifted local writers.
